5th Class School Tour to Dublin Zoo

On Wednesday 5^th June, 5^th class went to Dublin Zoo. 

We took part in the Explore Africa programme. It was a lovely day out.

6th Class Trip to Delphi Adventure Centre Connemara

On Thursday 30th May 6th class travelled to Delphi Adventure Centre Co. Mayo for an overnight trip. They did two land based activities (the Rock Wall and Jacob’s Ladder) and one water based activity (kayaking). It was a brilliant trip.

Grey Tree is an oil painting by Piet Mondrian. We mixed black and white to paint our own versions of this painting.

We have been exploring colour mixing. We used blue and yellow (primary colours) to make eight different shades of green (a secondary colour).

Trip to Tesco Distribution Centre

Tesco invited 5^th and 6^th class to their Distribution Centre in Swords. We got to see Stobart’s yard and then we were given a tour of the warehouse. We were made feel very welcome and it was really interesting to see how the Distribution Centre operates.
