Visual Arts- Marbling
Last week,
we took advantage of the lovely weather and did our Art lesson outdoors. We were
using a technique called Marbling. We dropped marbling inks into a tray of
water. We used lollipop sticks to make patterns in the ink. We then laid paper
on top of the water. The ink transferred to the paper to create lovely prints.
5th Class School Tour to Dublin Zoo
On
Wednesday 5th June, 5th class went to Dublin Zoo.
We took
part in the Explore Africa programme. It was a lovely day out.
6th Class Trip to Delphi Adventure Centre Connemara
On Thursday 30th
May 6th class travelled to Delphi Adventure Centre Co. Mayo for an overnight
trip. They did two land based activities (the Rock Wall and Jacob’s Ladder) and
one water based activity (kayaking). It was a brilliant trip.
