History- Local studies
As part of the ‘Local
studies’ work, the children in room 12 completed projects on Kenure House or
The RMS Tayleur. They presented these to the class. The presentations and
projects were very impressive. Well done!
Art- Construction
The children in room
12 constructed dioramas using a shoe box and waste materials. They were asked
to design and create a small scale model of their ideal bedroom. The finished
pieces are amazing.

History- Local studies
One of our history objectives this fortnight was to actively explore buildings,
sites or ruins in the local environment. We did this by visiting Kenure Cemetery.
We worked in groups to gather information about the graveyard. It was very
interesting. Thank you to the parents who
accompanied us.

Fun Day 12/10/2012
On Friday 12th October, 6th class held a Fun Day
to raise money to cover the cost of our trip to The Ulster American Folk Park
in November. They worked very hard and the day was a great success. Thanks to
everyone who sent in baked goods and items for the jumble sale.
